To be fair, I did stumble upon a few interesting bits. Some short clips that were pretty unique, the kind of stuff you don’t always find on your usual channels. That was a plus. But then, oh boy, the other side of the coin. You’d be watching something, and then bam! – an ad, or some recommended content that made you scratch your head. Some of it felt a bit… off, you know? Like walking through a crowded market, some stalls are great, others you just hurry past.
It really got me thinking, actually. It’s like all these online places now. They throw so much at you, hoping something sticks. One minute you’re looking for, say, tips on fixing a leaky faucet, and the next thing you know, you’re three hours deep into videos about competitive thumb wrestling in Outer Mongolia. It’s wild.
I remember back when I was trying to help my nephew with a school project. He needed info on, I don’t know, ancient Rome or something. We started searching, and the amount of distracting fluff we had to wade through was insane. Ads popping up, videos auto-playing… it’s a mission just to find a straight answer sometimes. This “91” experience kinda brought all that back. You find some good stuff, sure, but you also gotta be ready to dodge a few digital curveballs.
So yeah, that was my little adventure. Found some things, got annoyed by others. End of the day, it’s another corner of the internet. You gotta keep your wits about you, same as anywhere else online. My takeaway? Always have a clear goal before you dive into these things, or you’ll look up and half your day is gone. And maybe install a good ad blocker. Just saying.
